In celebration of its 20th anniversary, The Ashley Lauren Foundation is proud to launch its heartfelt “Summer of Hope” campaign—an initiative designed to provide critical assistance to children in New Jersey who are courageously fighting pediatric cancer.
Unlike national organizations that primarily fund research, The Ashley Lauren Foundation offers hands-on support to children and families navigating the overwhelming challenges of a cancer diagnosis. As an independent, New Jersey-based nonprofit, the Foundation works directly with hundreds of families each year, offering hope, comfort, and tangible aid.
“This campaign is more than just a summer fundraiser—it’s a call to action,” said Monica Vermeulen, Founder and CEO of The Ashley Lauren Foundation. “For 20 years, we’ve stood beside thousands of families through their most difficult days. The ‘Summer of Hope’ gives our community the opportunity to be part of something deeply impactful, bringing relief, joy, and hope to children who need it most. I always say, just sit with me for five minutes beside a child suffering from cancer and your life will never be the same.”
Proceeds from the campaign will go toward vital services such as financial assistance for bills, material needs, transportation to treatment, food, birthday and holiday gifts for children, parties, outings, Making Dreams Come True program, emotional support, and so much more—all focused on making daily life a little easier during a time of crisis.
